Babb Education was founded by Dr. Dani Babb — one of the early pioneers of online higher education and the author of the first-ever book published by Wiley on securing online teaching positions. What started as a mission to help professors find their footing in the new world of online learning has grown into one of higher education's most trusted instructional design partnerships.
We are a woman-owned small business (WOSB) and a proud U.S.-based team of instructional designers, faculty, subject matter experts, accreditation specialists, and project managers. Every member of our team has worked inside higher education — as faculty, administrators, or both — and that experience shapes everything we build.
Our network includes more than 15,000 credentialed faculty and subject matter experts across disciplines. We have built, refreshed, and loaded thousands of courses on Canvas, Blackboard, Brightspace D2L, Moodle, and other LMS platforms — for community colleges, HBCUs, faith-based universities, research institutions, and online-only programs across the U.S. and internationally.
We are experienced working within the requirements and timelines of grant-funded projects, including Title III, Title V, and FIPSE grants, and we design our services to be fully compatible with institutional budgeting and grant compliance requirements. Get in touch to talk through your project.
A Note on Our History
Dr. Dani Babb founded and sold a prior company in 2022. Babb Education is her current company — and the home of the same mission and team she built over the previous 17 years. If you worked with Dr. Babb's team before 2022, you're in the right place.
